25 November Fillacavity Hotel

The Kinetic theatre presented a playcalled Fillacavity Hotel which was about teeth.

The story line was an unsuccessful actress who tries to get a new job as a dentist in a TV show. The only problem is that she doesn't know anything about teeth. So she decides to go to a hotel where the evil jewel, ruby and diamond thief is. The actress finds out loads of interesting things about teeth, our five senses and facts about the skeleton. In all the different subjects they talked about in the play they asked for volunteers to help them find out all the different questions asked by other people in the hotel.

At the end of the play the actress finds out that her show had been cancelled so she ends up doing a course on acting in the hotel for other people who come to stay.

Overall the play was an excellent play along with all the other plays that Kinetic Theatre have performed over the last couple of years.

19 November Children in Need

Girls from Year 5 have been busy at playtimes raising money for Children in Need.

They have organised games and competitions.

One competition was to guess how many sweets were in a jar. The other was to guess which scratch panel had the picture of Pudsey Bear.
